Lucknow/Mau: A grand Shiksha Mitra Felicitation Ceremony and enhanced honorarium distribution programme was organised at the Municipal Community Hall in Mau in the presence of A K Sharma. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Shiksha Mitras across the district.
The programme commenced with the live telecast of a statewide address by Yogi Adityanath from Lucknow. In his address, the Chief Minister praised the patience, dedication and significant contribution of Shiksha Mitras in strengthening the education system of the state. He reiterated the government’s commitment towards the dignity and economic empowerment of education workers.
Addressing the gathering, Minister A.K. Sharma said that the Uttar Pradesh government is working with the vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.” He described Shiksha Mitras as a vital pillar of the primary education system and acknowledged their invaluable contribution to society.
He stated that the programme was not merely about the distribution of enhanced honorarium, but also symbolised the government’s trust, respect and commitment towards the Shiksha Mitra community.

The event also featured colourful cultural performances by students of composite schools, which were warmly appreciated by the audience.
Among those present on the occasion were Chief Development Officer Vivek Kumar Srivastava, District Basic Education Officer Santosh Upadhyay, district president Ramashray Maurya, other public representatives and a large number of Shiksha Mitras.
