Proud moment for India’s blue warriors

New Delhi: The Indian cricket team (Team India) has returned home after winning the T20 Cricket World Cup trophy. Team India first reached Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s official residence  to meet him. During this, PM Modi talked to the players of the entire team including coach Rahul Dravid for about two hours and also had breakfast.

Actually PM Modi had invited the players and support staff to celebrate winning the title in the 2024 T20 World Cup. At present, Team India has left for Mumbai from Delhi. Now a victory procession will be taken out in Mumbai with the World Cup trophy.

PM Modi shared pictures on social media

At the same time, after meeting Team India, PM Modi shared two pictures on the social media platform X. Sharing the photo, PM Modi wrote, “Had a wonderful meeting with our champions. Hosted the World Cup-winning team at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg and had a memorable conversation on their experiences during the tournament.”

Team India’s star batsman Virat Kohli also shared a photo of this meeting with PM Modi on his Instagram account. Kohli wrote in the caption of his post, “Very proud to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi today. Thank you sir for inviting us to the Prime Minister’s residence.”

Earlier, a video of Team India’s meeting with PM Modi had surfaced, in which Prime Minister Modi spoke to every player of the team (Team India) and congratulated them for the great victory in the T20 Cricket World Cup. Rohit Sharma handed over the trophy to PM Modi and the entire team posed for the photo.

BCCI President Roger Binny and Secretary Jai Shah were also present on this very special occasion. During this, captain Rohit Sharma and coach Rahul Dravid also handed over the T20 World Cup trophy to PM Modi. Team India’s victory procession will be taken out in Mumbai It is worth noting that the schedule of Team India, which returned to India, is very busy.
