Prayagraj: For the first time in Maha Kumbh, top 100 handicraftsmen from across the country are going to showcase their art. Under this, the double engine government is going to present the most valuable artworks of the country in the world’s largest cultural event. There are also preparations to telecast this exhibition live online. From Banarasi sarees to major South Indian artworks will be showcased in this exhibition to be held on the banks of Sangam. Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, preparations are underway to make Maha Kumbh wonderful and supernatural this time. Assistant Director Handicraft Service Center Prayagraj Tanya Banerjee said that in Maha Kumbh, preparations are being made to showcase the wonderful 100 leading craftsmen of India in front of 45 crore people of the country and the world. In view of the divinity, grandeur and novelty of the Maha Kumbh, for the first time such a big event is being organized at the Sangam shore at the national level. More than 45 crore people from the country and the world are expected to reach the Maha Kumbh. Under this, the event is being given a wider form so that people from the country and the world can get acquainted with the craftsmanship of various states, especially from the east to the west and from the north to the south.
Handicraft products giving competition to e-commerce companies-
During the Maha Kumbh, the artworks made by the craftsmen from all over the country will also be bought and sold in the live exhibition. For this, its own website has been developed. This India Handmade website is giving competition to the big e-commerce companies of the world. Not only Indians, but people from the country and abroad can also go to this website and buy and sell handicraft items.
Soft stone of Banaras and Pashmina shawl of Jammu and Kashmir will grab headlines-
During the Maha Kumbh, everything from soft stone of Banaras to Pashmina shawl of Jammu and Kashmir will be available in the handicraft exhibition. Apart from this, Moonj craft of Prayagraj, Sajar stone of Banda, Gaura stone of Mahoba, soft toys of Jhansi, Chanderi sarees of Madhya Pradesh and Banarasi sarees of Kashi will also attract people.
Wooden toys will attract-
Under ODOP, an exhibition of artwork will be held in Maha Kumbh by making an elephant inside an elephant and eight layers of it one by one. Apart from this, the famous wooden toys of Chitrakoot and Kashi will especially attract people.
Women will like Firozabad bangles and Himachal’s Chamba handkerchief-
Special care has also been taken of the choice of women under the handicraft art exhibition during the Maha Kumbh.
