Bareilly: A patriotic poetry recitation competition was organised at Pt. Dina Nath Mishra Inter College, run by M.J.P. Rohilkhand University, on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas. The event was held with the inspiration of Vice-Chancellor Professor K.P. Singh with the objective of instilling patriotism and honouring the valour and sacrifice of the Indian soldiers who fought in the Kargil War.
The programme commenced with a heartfelt tribute to the brave martyrs. The event was conducted successfully by Mrs Manpreet Kaur. Students from various classes participated enthusiastically in the competition and presented patriotic poems highlighting the courage, determination, and supreme sacrifice of the Kargil heroes.
The powerful performances by the students created an atmosphere of patriotism and moved the audience. Their inspiring presentations reflected respect and gratitude towards the armed forces.
The competition was judged by Dr Pushplata Singh and Mr Abhishek Chaudhary. Principal Dr Binita Prakash graced the occasion with her presence and, in her motivational address, encouraged students to imbibe the values of patriotism, discipline, and dedication from the lives of the nation’s brave soldiers.

At the conclusion of the programme, outstanding performers were honoured for their achievements. The event ended with the singing of the National Anthem.
