Initiative aims to build communication skills and stage confidence among young learners
Unchahar — Under the guidance of Regional Executive Director (North) Mr. Gautam Deb, the NTPC Northern Region Headquarters, Lucknow organized a two-day “Public Speaking and Anchoring Workshop” at NTPC Unchahar. The workshop was designed to enhance communication skills and instill stage confidence among students from classes 8 to 10.
The session was inaugurated virtually by Gautam Deb, while Samiran Sinha Ray, Regional Head (Human Resources), also joined the event online. The workshop was conducted by The Lead Navigators, an organization specializing in personality and communication training. Participants received practical lessons in key aspects of public speaking, including pronunciation, expression, articulation, and voice modulation.

A total of 28 students and their teachers from NTPC Unchahar and NTPC Tanda schools participated enthusiastically. Each student was given the opportunity to speak on selected topics and received personalized feedback aimed at improving clarity, confidence, and delivery.
This interactive initiative reinforces NTPC’s ongoing commitment to the holistic development of children within the NTPC family and its extended stakeholder community. By encouraging communication excellence at a young age, NTPC continues to nurture future leaders equipped with confidence, clarity, and effective expression.
