Municipal Commissioner spearheads GIS survey grievance redressal

Lucknow: GIS of buildings located in Lucknow city. Objections were sought from house taxpayers in Trilokinath Hall located at Lucknow Municipal Corporation Headquarters on 17.05.2024 (Friday) for redressal of objections against the tax assessment made in the survey. Also, the objectors were asked to bring evidence along with the current photo of the building. In the said GIS Samadhan Diwas, all Additional Municipal Commissioners, Chief Tax Assessment Officer, Assistant Municipal Commissioner, all Zonal Officers, Tax Superintendents, Revenue Inspectors and GIS Survey team along with computer operators were present. In  Samadhan Diwas, the objections were resolved with the help of GIS team at the Municipal Corporation level.

Repoprtedly 390 objections were received zone wise, out of which 388 objections were resolved. The objections registered in each zone were resolved on the spot.  In the Samadhan Diwas, the complaints of all the building owners were heard by the Municipal Commissioner  Inderjit Singh while presiding over it and all the zonal officers were instructed to resolve 100%. The building owners expressed their gratitude to the Municipal Commissioner for personally hearing and resolving the objections and said that the resolution was quick in the Samadhan Diwas whereas in other offices there are many misconceptions about GIS and correct information was not being obtained.

In the GIS Samadhan Diwas held, all the zonal officers were present with their subordinate tax superintendents and revenue inspectors, who, on receiving the application, calculated and investigated the matter immediately and got it resolved on the spot.

One case being commercial will be disposed of after on-site inspection and in the remaining one case the disposal process is still going on after completing the process of investigation etc. In the Samadhan Diwas, the major cases were disposed of in the following order.

Zone-1

1- Objector Smt. Babi Parveen, B.S. 175/125, Peer Jalil, Golaganj 9157A32486, GIS annual value is 25560 and after disposal the assessed value is 6336
2- Objector Shri Miyilesh Shrivastava, Building No. 188/034D, Mashkganj-Wazirganj 9157A30133, GIS annual value is 11664 and after disposal the assessed value is 9850

Zone-2
1- Objector Smt. Gayatri Gupta, Motijheel Colony, Malviya Nagar, Building ID 9157A85224, GIS annual value is 6480 and after disposal the assessed value remained the same.
2- Objector Smt. Manju Devi, Building ID 9157A86485, GIS annual value is 11664 and after disposal the assessed value remained the same. Motijheel Colony’s annual value is 3240 and after settlement the fixed price is 1152

Zone-3
1- Objector Shri Mohanlal, Building ID 9157B13962 Faizullahganj-1’s GIS annual value is 8100 and after settlement the fixed price is 2760
2- Objector Shri Mushtaqun Nisha, Building ID 9157B23450 Aliganj Sector-N’s GIS annual value is 11664 and after settlement the fixed price is 3645

Zone-5
1- Objector Shri Amit Singh, Building ID 9157C63072 Arjun Nagar, Guru Govind Singh’s GIS annual value is 13608 and after settlement the fixed price is 12096
2- Objector Shri GIS annual value of Bhola Khada, Chitragupta Nagar of 9157C64357 is 12600 and the assessed value after disposal is 12150

Zone-6
1- Objector Shri Shiv Gopal Nigam, Building ID 9157D57829, Purana Haiderganj, GIS annual value is 12960 and the assessed value after disposal is 9000
2- Objector Shri Haseen Jahan, Building ID 9157D80417, Wazirbagh, GIS annual value is 11520 and the assessed value after disposal is 7200

Zone-7
1- Objector Shri Ram Kumar Balodhi, Building ID 9157E59602, Shankarpurwa-3, GIS annual value is 27216 and the assessed value after disposal is 9000. 18000
2- Objector Mrs. Jagdevi, Building ID 9157E49458 Vikas Nagar GIS Annual value is 104760 and after settlement the fixed price is 58968

Zone-8
1- Objector Mrs. Muni Devi, Building ID 9157F04182, Sarpotganj, Kharika-1 GIS Annual value is 18240 and after settlement the fixed price is 11520
2- Objector Mr. Rajdev Prasad, Building ID 9157G32677, Krishna Vihar, Ibrahimpur, II GIS Annual value is 10800 and after settlement the fixed price is 9000

Apart from this, the building owners were saying that this arrangement was very necessary for the confusion being spread about the Municipal Corporation and GIS survey. The Municipal Commissioner was thanked for this initiative.

The Municipal Commissioner said that the above mentioned GIS Samadhan Diwas will be organized every Friday and will be continued till all the GIS cases are resolved.
