Continued Harassment After Divorce

The police identified the body upon reaching the scene. According to the deceased’s father, Riaz, Ashkan had married a woman named Muskan a few months ago out of love, but their disputes escalated, leading to their divorce two and a half months ago.

Riaz alleged that even after the divorce, Muskan continued to harass Ashkan, ultimately driving him to suicide.

Case Filed Against Wife and Three Others

In his complaint to the police, Riaz stated that Muskan, her brother-in-law Rehan, her mother Shabana (also known as Shabbo), and her sister Anjum were constantly harassing Ashkan. He also accused them of demanding money repeatedly, which led Ashkan into severe mental distress.

Based on the father’s complaint, the police have registered a case of abetment to suicide against Muskan and three others. Investigations into the matter are currently underway.
