Lucknow: Under the leadership and guidance of Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, the implementation of village-oriented schemes of the Rural Development Department is being done in a better way, while to ensure that there is no confusion in the implementation of the schemes, arrangements have been made for continuous monitoring.
Strict instructions have also been given to keep an effective and sharp eye on the quality of works under the MNREGA scheme.
The work of monitoring MNREGA works by videography / photography with drone technology is going on continuously.
The team deployed at the state headquarters level is going to the districts and continuously doing the work of videography / photography with drone technology, the number of teams deployed at the state headquarters level has also been increased, the purpose of increasing the number of teams is to increase the reach of drone cameras to as many work sites as possible, so that transparency and quality of the work done under the scheme can be ensured.
In this sequence, now the drone team will visit Lalitpur district and inspect the work done under the scheme from tomorrow. State level drone team is being used for regular inspection/monitoring to ensure the quality of MNREGA works.
According to the information received from MNREGA State Headquarters, instructions have been given to inspect/monitor all the works done under MNREGA in the year 2023-24 in 20 Gram Panchayats of Lalitpur district by doing videography/photography with the drone team.
In this regard, the Chief Development Officer of Lalitpur district has been instructed to ensure the duty of subordinate officers and employees to provide assistance to the drone team. Commissioner Rural Development Department GS Priyadarshi informed that action is also being taken to increase the number of drone teams established at the state level, currently 2 more teams have been increased to visit the work sites in the districts, he said that it is being considered to increase more teams in future.
As per the prescribed roster, the drone team will discharge the assigned responsibilities in 20 Gram Panchayats of 5 different development blocks of Lalitpur district from September 10 to September 14.
