Massive donations at Ramlala temple to help better Ayodhya experience

Ayodhya: Devotees are donating lakhs of rupees daily for the construction of Ram temple. The ground breaking ceremony for the grand temple of Ramlala took place on August 5, 2020. Since then, devotees of Ramlala have donated more than Rs 55 billion.

In the fund dedication campaign run in 2021, the trust received a donation of Rs 3500 crore. After this, donations of Rs 2000 crore have been received in the last three years. Not only this, the contribution of foreign countries is also increasing in the donations received by Ramlala.

The Ram Mandir Trust had run a 42-day fund dedication campaign from Makar Sankranti to Ravidas Jayanti in 2021 for the construction of the temple. For this, the trust had printed receipts of 10, 100 and one thousand. In this campaign, people from every section of the country had donated voluntary funds.

This campaign was run in all the states of the country. A total amount of Rs 3500 crore was received in this campaign. This amount has been deposited in SBI, Bank of Baroda and Punjab National Bank.

Prakash Gupta, office in-charge of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust, says that donations have increased after Pran Pratishtha. Donations of more than one crore rupees are being received every month.

A total of six donation counters have been set up on the Darshan Marg including Ramlala’s donation counter. Devotees are offering donations through cash, online, cheque, RTGS and other means. Told that cash worth about 50 thousand is being offered daily. Apart from this, devotees also donate gold and silver in large quantities.

11 crore foreign donation received in 10 months

Foreign devotees are also offering donations to Ramlala now. Foreign donations have increased. In October 2023, the Ram Mandir Trust got the right to take foreign donations. Since then, foreign donations have also increased.

In the last ten months, the trust has received foreign donations of about 11 crores. Most devotees are sending donations from Nepal and America. To receive foreign donations, the Ram Mandir Trust has opened an account in the State Bank in New Delhi.
