Lucknow: A round table discussion was held between the delegation of the University of Lucknow, led by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Alok Kumar Rai, and representatives of Almaty Management University at Almaty, Kazakhstan. The round table discussion was hosted by Sholpan Tazabek,the Vice Rector of Almaty Management University Tajikistan.
Prof Alok Kumar Rai,the Vice Chancellor of the University of Lucknow discussed a pattern of strengthening the world class business environment and better strategic plans in education,academia , mobility in tourism and hospitality and related entrepreneurship in Kazakhstan.In this context he proposed to establish a Campus of the University of Lucknow in Almaty, Kazakhstan primarily for the studies of Management Sciences,. entrepreneurship , tourism and liberal humanities ,initially in collaboration with Almaty Management University.
The proposed campus will offer a range of programs in Management Sciences, including MBA, BBA, and other specialized courses ,and shall help better internship opportunities for students .The campus will be designed to provide a world-class learning experience, with state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities.University.If materialized ,this initiative shall strengthen the bilateral cooperation of the two nations via academic partnership.
With the unprecedented happening in trade,commerce, academics and related mobility in central Asia ,and Indian presence in the scene ,there is greater demand in the courses in Business Analytics, International Business, Tourism and Hospitality , Energy Studies and Cross Cultural communication. Further there are prospects of internship for students in exploring the entrepreneurship of india in the Central Asian Market and business environment, said Prof Alok Kumar Rai.
“This is a significant milestone for the University of Lucknow, and we are excited to partner with Almaty Management University to establish a campus in Almaty. This initiative will provide students from Kazakhstan and the region with access to high-quality education in Management Sciences, added Prof Rai.
The establishment of the campus is subject to the necessary approvals and clearances from the relevant authorities.Both the parties shall start communication with competent government authorities for necessary logistics , permission and required support. Sholpan Tazabek ,the Kazakh representative highlighted Almaty Management University’s commitment to fostering global partnerships and promoting innovation in education and research,and showed her enthusiasm on bilateral ties towards institution building.
