Lucknow: New features have started arriving for Snapchat users. To make the user experience more interactive, the company has started rolling out these features. Many AI powered features have been included in the app. These are gradually being rolled out for all users. Some of these features are such that only Snapchat+ paid subscribers can use them. Features added include editable chat, emoji reactions, My AI reminders. Additionally, an AI-powered feature to create custom outfits for users’ Bitmoji avatar is also available.
New features for Snapchat users
Editable Chats: In this feature, users will get the facility to edit the message up to five minutes after sending it. This feature will work in the same way as the edit feature of WhatsApp works. This feature is currently available for Snapchat Plus users. This feature can be rolled out for all users in the coming weeks.
My AI Reminder: Another amazing feature is My AI Reminder. This will allow users to set a reminder by sending an instant message to My AI with the event name, date and time. Once sent, my AI in-app will start a countdown and share a notification when the counter reaches zero.
AI Powered Bitmoji Outfit: Apart from this, two more new features have been added to Snapchat. The first of which is the AI powered Bitmoji Outfit Generator. Here users have to write a short description and this feature will generate similar apparel with the help of AI. These dresses will be designed with unique patterns, colors, designs.
90s AI Lens: The second feature is the 90s AI lens. It was launched a few days ago and was named ’90s AI Lens’. AI Lens is essentially an AI-powered filter with creative effects that are automatically applied after you click an image.
