LCWW’s ‘Jashn-e-Baharaan’ Brings in the Spirit of Baisakhi with Colour and Culture

Lucknow: On the vibrant occasion of Baisakhi, Lucknow Connection Worldwide (LCWW) hosted a grand cultural celebration titled “Jashn-e-Baharaan”, marking an evening of joy, spring festivities, cultural unity, and harmony.

The event began with a heartfelt welcome address by Senior Admin  Anil Shukla, who greeted all attendees and formally opened the evening of celebration. Senior Admin Shoaib Qureshi then read out a special message from LCWW Founder  Sunil Mishra, who reiterated the platform’s core mission of bringing together culture, creativity, and shared human values.

Program Director  P.S. Jaggi lauded the LCWW family, praising their continuous efforts in nurturing tradition and talent through such inclusive platforms.

The Chief Guest, Dr. G.N. Khanna, IPS (Retd.), former DIG (Law), Uttar Pradesh, commended LCWW for promoting collective joy and cultural heritage. He remarked that festivals like these are true reflections of India’s shared traditions and cultural harmony.

The evening’s highlight was a vibrant Punjabi cultural performance by students and teachers of Guru Nanak Girls’ Inter College, Lucknow, under the leadership of Principal  Manjeet Kaur. The spirited Giddha dance and traditional Punjabi folk songs brought the festive colours of Baisakhi alive. Notable performers included  Jaspreet Kaur and Inderjeet Kaur.

Honours and Recognitions

LCWW also honoured several distinguished individuals for their achievements:

  •  Anita Sudhir ‘Akhya’, whose book “Sashakt Divyang” was launched at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

  • Sanjeev Jaiswal, for his notable contribution to children’s literature.

  •  Pooja Tandon, crowned Mrs. Style Icon 2025.

  •  Rashmi Mishra, recognized for her dedication to LCWW and her new role with Zee Studios.

The LCWW family also celebrated the birthdays of key members including P.S. Jaggi,  Rajeev Saxena, and  Rashmi Mishra. Warm wishes were also extended to Ila Gupta and Dr. S.K. Gupta on their wedding anniversary.

An Evening of Art and Expression

The cultural evening was packed with soulful music and dance performances by several talented artists such as Ananya Madar, Rahul Pandey, Madhumita Raksheet, Rakesh Sharma, Anju Yadav, and Rajesh Singh Pawar, among others. The audience was enthralled by solo and duet renditions, traditional folk tunes, and energetic group dances. The event was beautifully compered by Rashmi Mishra and Rahul Pandey, who brought charm, emotional warmth, and elegance to the entire celebration.
