Bareilly – The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of the Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI), Izatnagar, Bareilly, organized a poster competition and rally focused on road safety under the leadership of Dr. R.S. Suman and Dr. Mukesh Kumar, Program Officers. The event aimed to raise awareness about road safety and emphasize the importance of safe traffic practices among the public.
The program commenced at the IVRI campus, with a special focus on the significance of road safety in preserving lives. Dr. S.K. Mendiratta, Joint Director (Academics), and Dr. S.K. Saha, Student Welfare Officer, addressed the attendees, including students and scientists, stressing that adhering to road safety norms is not just a duty but a critical measure to safeguard the lives of individuals within society.
The participants of the event took part in a rally through the campus, promoting messages of safe driving, adherence to traffic rules, and leading a secure and happy life. The rally highlighted the importance of discipline and awareness on the roads, urging everyone to be more responsible while driving.
