Lucknow: The Bombay Chartered Accountants’ Society (BCAS) concluded its 58th Members’ Residential Refresher Meeting in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The annual event witnessed the participation of 200 Chartered Accountants, fostering knowledge sharing, networking, and professional development.The four-day course had a series of sessions revisiting fundamental concepts while equipping chartered accountants with the skills necessary to navigate the evolving financial landscape.As part of the program, BCAS office bearers also visited the iconic Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, adding a cultural and spiritual dimension to the gathering.
The last day of the event was graced with the presence of Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister, Brajesh Pathak as the Chief Guest. In his address, he highlighted how Uttar Pradesh is a land of opportunities, while discussing the challenges for businesses in the region. Speaking at the event, he remarked,“I am keen to hear your suggestions and recommendations on how we can further enhance our policies and initiatives. We are open to incorporating your valuable inputs into our government frameworks, ensuring that together, we build a stronger and more prosperous Uttar Pradesh.”He also spoke about the government’s focus on creating infrastructure in the state in the form of Schools, medical colleges etc. He further added about the huge entrepreneurial opportunities that lie in the state besides highlighting the efforts undertaken by the government in reaching out to investors and enterprises in the far off countries.
Other special guest included Mukesh Singh, ECM and Chairman, UP Coordination Comm Indo American Chamber of Commerce. During the event, CA Himanshu Kishnadwala also presented a case study around the practical implementation of Auditing Standards.
