Hindu Mahasabha Tridandi Hosts Hanuman Chalisa Recitation and Khichdi Feast

Lucknow: The All India Hindu Mahasabha Tridandi organized a special event to mark Makar Sankranti at the Hanuman temple in Devpur Para. The event featured the recitation of Hanuman Chalisa, followed by a traditional Khichdi feast.

Anita Tiwari, divisional president of Akhand Aryavart Arya Mahasabha and the event’s organizer, emphasized the significance of the occasion. She shared that the organization has been conducting recitations of Sunderkand and Hanuman Chalisa at various temples in the region since January 24. “Our aim is to unite and raise awareness among residents about our Sanatan civilization and its rich traditions,” she said.

Tiwari further highlighted the organization’s efforts to support devotees heading to Prayagraj for the Mahakumbh. “We are working tirelessly to ensure that devotees from our area are well-supported. Our president, Rishi Trivedi, has made comprehensive arrangements for food, water, and accommodation in Prayagraj,” she added.

The Khichdi feast on Makar Sankranti was organized to spread the essence of Sanatan culture and foster community harmony. Several prominent members of the organization attended the event, including divisional vice president Rinki Singh, treasurer Sarita Bajpai, general secretary Pushpa Modi, and members Abhishek Amit Bajpai and Pappu Srivastava.

The event served as a platform to strengthen cultural bonds and promote traditional values, with attendees reaffirming their commitment to supporting pilgrims and preserving the Sanatan way of life.
