Dubai: Harmanpreet Kaur will lead the Indian team for the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 to be held in the UAE, while Smriti Mandhana has been named the vice-captain.
Yastika Bhatia and Shreyanka Patil have returned to the 15-member Indian squad for the Women’s T20 World Cup.
Apart from the 15-member Indian team, three players will go to the UAE as traveling reserves. These players include Uma Chhetri, Tanuja Kanwar and Saima Thakor.

Harmanpreet Kaur (captain), Smriti Mandhana (vice-captain), Shefali Verma, Deepti Sharma, Jemimah Rodrigues, Richa Ghosh (wicketkeeper), Yastika Bhatia (wicketkeeper), Pooja Vastrakar, Arundhati Reddy, Renuka Singh Thakur, Dayalan Hemalatha, Asha Shobhana, Radha Yadav, Shreyanka Patil and Sanjana Sajeevan.
The chances of Radha Yadav, Sanjana Sajeevan and Shreyanka Patil playing the World Cup will depend on their fitness.
