Bareilly: Hackathon 2.0 was held at Shri Ram Murthy Memorial College of Engineering and Technology (CET). SRMS Trust Secretary Aditya Murthy and CET Principal Dr. Prabhakar Gupta inaugurated this three-day competition conducted in the Old Auditorium by cutting the ribbon. He introduced all the participants and congratulated them for their participation.
Principal of Shri Ram Murthy Smarak College of Engineering and Technology, Dr. Prabhakar Gupta said that this time the theme of Hackathon 2.0 is “Smart Campus Solution”. In this, 32 teams of 156 graduates and post graduates from technical colleges of Coimbatore, Tiruvallur, Jabalpur, Indore, Lucknow, Kanpur, Moradabad and Bareilly cities of Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh have participated. Hackathon 2.0 is a thirty-six-hour technology event that aims to inspire creativity and innovation among students by solving real-world challenges related to smart campuses.
Tech Edge Cell, part of the Institutional Innovation Cell of Shri Ram Murthy Smarak College of Engineering and Technology, has been organizing this event for many years. Along with learning, participants also get a chance to win cash prizes and tap into the innovative ideas of others.
