Lucknow: Governor of Uttar Pradesh Anandiben Patel visited the historic GPO Ring Court, Lucknow. This place is famous for the historic case related to Kakori Kand during the Indian freedom struggle.
GPO Ring Court has witnessed an important chapter of the Indian freedom struggle. On this occasion, the Governor remembered the contribution of the martyrs and freedom fighters of Kakori Kand and paid tribute to them.
She said that this place is a symbol of the glorious saga of the Indian freedom struggle. She stressed the need to cherish this historical heritage and preserve it for future generations.
