Gonda SP Reviews Preparations for Sub-Inspector Recruitment Verification and Physical Standards Test

Gonda: Superintendent of Police Vineet Jaiswal inspected the arrangements made at the Police Lines for the document verification and Physical Standards Test (DV/PST) of candidates shortlisted under the Civil Police Sub-Inspector Direct Recruitment-2025 process.

During the inspection, the SP reviewed various facilities established for the recruitment exercise, including the candidate entry gate, biometric verification centre, holding and seating areas, and the DV/PST testing venue. He also checked the functioning and positioning of CCTV cameras installed at key locations to ensure transparency and security throughout the recruitment process.

Vineet Jaiswal issued necessary instructions to the concerned officers and representatives of the implementing agency responsible for conducting the examination and maintaining security arrangements. He emphasized that document verification and physical standards testing must be carried out strictly in accordance with the prescribed rules and guidelines, leaving no scope for irregularities.

The Superintendent of Police directed all officials associated with the recruitment process to remain vigilant, responsible, and committed to maintaining the integrity and fairness of the selection procedure. He stressed that every stage of the process should be conducted transparently and professionally.

According to officials, candidates who qualified in the written examination of the Civil Police Sub-Inspector Direct Recruitment-2025 have been called for the next phase comprising document verification and physical standards testing. The exercise is scheduled to be conducted in Gonda district from June 15 to June 16, 2026.

A total of 134 candidates, including 15 women and 119 men, are expected to participate in the two-day verification and testing process. The proceedings will begin daily at 9:15 a.m. and continue until completion of the scheduled activities.

Authorities have also made arrangements for addressing objections or grievances raised by candidates during the process. Such objections will be examined and decided upon by the designated Nodal Officer and Appellate Officer during the evening review sessions.

To ensure complete transparency, the entire DV/PST venue will remain under continuous CCTV surveillance. In addition, both confidential and open monitoring teams have been deployed to oversee the proceedings and safeguard the sanctity of the recruitment process.

The district police administration stated that all necessary measures have been put in place to ensure a fair, secure, and efficient recruitment exercise while maintaining the highest standards of transparency and accountability.
