DM Lucknow Vishakh G. Conducts Inspection Ahead of ‘Seva, Suraksha, and Sushasan’ Event

Lucknow: In light of the upcoming three-day celebrations marking eight years of the state government’s ‘Seva, Suraksha, and Sushasan’ (Service, Security, and Good Governance) initiative, an extensive inspection was conducted at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Lucknow, by District Magistrate Vishakh G. The event, scheduled for March 25-27, will feature exhibitions and various programs to showcase the government’s achievements. The Deputy Chief Minister, Brajesh Pathak, will be the chief guest at the event.

Exhibitions and Arrangements

During the inspection, DM Vishakh G. briefed officials on the arrangements, emphasizing that an exhibition near Jupiter Hall would display models and photographs from key government departments such as Public Works, Bridge Corporation, Construction Corporation, Lucknow Development Authority, Municipal Corporation, Tourism, and Police Administration. Additionally, projects inaugurated and foundation stones laid over the past eight years will be showcased in a dedicated area with structured displays.

A large-scale exhibition will also be set up by the Information and Public Relations Department in the lawn area in front of Mars Hall. The exhibition will highlight various welfare schemes, including the ‘One District, One Product’ initiative.

Event Schedule and Highlights

The grand inauguration on March 25 will be followed by an ‘Arogya Mela’ (Health Fair) and a press conference. In the evening, cultural programs featuring renowned folk artists and bands like Kabir Café will be held at Jupiter Hall.

  • March 25: The day will commence with an exhibition inauguration at 11:30 AM, followed by sessions on healthcare, agriculture, and cultural performances.
  • March 26: A Women Empowerment Seminar will be held in the morning, followed by the inauguration of a Job Fair and ‘Eat Right Mela’ by Finance Minister Suresh Khanna. Discussions on sanitation, healthcare, and water supply will be conducted in the afternoon. The evening will feature folk performances and a poetry session.
  • March 27: The final day will include seminars on pension and ration schemes, followed by the inauguration of the Loan Mela by Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak. Discussions on ODOP, youth employment, and investment will take place, alongside sessions on infrastructure development. Cultural performances, including puppet shows and traditional folk singing, will conclude the event.

A dedicated ‘Arogya Mela’ (Health Fair) will also run parallel to the main event from March 25 to 27 at Mars Hall.

Authorities Ensure Smooth Execution

During the inspection, the District Magistrate visited key venues including Jupiter Hall, Saturn Hall, and Mars Hall, assessing ongoing preparations. Officials were instructed to complete stall setups within the stipulated timeline. The inauguration ceremony will also witness the distribution of benefits under government schemes, such as tablet/smartphone distribution, housing allotment under CM Awas and PM Awas Yojana, and loan distribution under the CM Youth Development Initiative.

The inspection was attended by the Chief Development Officer, Chief Medical Officer, Additional Municipal Commissioner, Additional District Magistrate (East), Additional District Magistrate (TG), Additional District Magistrate (Finance & Revenue), and other officials from various departments. The administration aims to ensure a seamless and grand execution of the event.
