Ujjain: Peethadheeshwar Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham reached Ujjain’s Shri Mahakal temple to do a darshan of Baba.
Dhirendra Shastri, who reached Ujjain, the city of Baba Mahakal, also participated in the morning Bhasma Aarti. He also worshiped Lord Shiva by sitting in the Nandi Hall. He also reached the sanctum sanctorum and performed Jalabhishek of Baba Mahakal.
Superintendent of Police Pradeep Sharma honored him by garlanding him on behalf of the temple committee.
After having darshan of Mahakal, Shastri said in a conversation with the media that India should be a Hindu nation. He also said that the tradition of Mahakal temple should continue. Dhirendra Shastri had come to Indore in connection with some story.
People continue to come for darshan in Shri Mahakaleshwar temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. About two and a half lakh devotees come here daily to have darshan of Baba.
Dhirendra Krishna Shastri (born 4 July 1996 as Dhirendra Krishna Garg) also known as Bageshwar Dham Sarkar or Maharaj, is a Hindu Spiritual Guru and the peethadhishwar of the Bageshwar Dham Sarkar, a religious Hindu pilgrimage site in Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh, India. Shastri recites stories at Bageshwar Dham in Chhatarpur.
Shastri was born on 4 July 1996 in Gada village of Chhatarpur district. He was the eldest of two children to Saroj Garg (mother) and Ram Kripal Garg (father) and was brought up in a Hindu Saryupareen Brahmin family where his father works as a priest. Shastri’s childhood was one of poverty; his family lived in a kutcha house. As a child, he used to narrate stories to people in his village.
