Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met with the team of the upcoming film Kannappa at his official residence. The courtesy visit was led by the film’s producer Dr. M Mohan Babu, along with lead actor Vishnu Manchu, choreographer and actor Prabhu Deva, and team member Vinay Maheshwari.
During the meeting, the filmmakers discussed the vision and spiritual essence of Kannappa, a mythological epic rooted in Indian tradition. They also expressed interest in exploring shooting opportunities in Uttar Pradesh, highlighting the state’s cinematic infrastructure and growing appeal as a film-friendly destination under the leadership of CM Yogi.
The Chief Minister welcomed the team and appreciated their efforts to bring culturally significant stories to the silver screen. He reiterated the state government’s commitment to promoting film production in UP and assured full support to filmmakers who choose the state as a shooting location. The meeting concluded on a positive note with mutual admiration and cultural exchange.
