Lucknow: The cops of Chinhat police station disclosed such a sensational murder case in which the accused wanted to kill the woman and take advantage of loan and insurance by showing it as an accident. The husband, father-in-law and one accused of the woman involved in the murder are absconding.
The father-in-law had registered the accident case
DCP East Shashank Singh told reporters that on May 20, 2023, a woman named Pooja died in a road accident. In this regard, father-in-law Ram Milan had lodged a case against the unknown driver at Chinhat police station. During the investigation of the case, the police collected all the evidence and arrested Kuldeep Singh, originally a resident of Barabanki, Deepak Verma, a resident of Indiranagar, Lucknow and Alok Nigam, a resident of Daliganj, and interrogated them.
Insurance company officials suspect murder
All three said that husband Abhishek, father-in-law Ram Milan and another youth Abhishek took out a four-wheeler, two-wheeler, CC loan in the name of Mudra loan shop and accident insurance along with insurance policy in the name of Pooja as part of a conspiracy. After this, these people crushed Pooja to death with a car. After Pooja’s death, insurance company officials had expressed suspicion of murder before the police. DCP East Shashank Singh said that the accused became a witness himself to get the insurance claim and loan amount. The police have arrested the accused and the team is searching for the three other absconding accused.
