Lucknow: A special checking drive was conducted by the Madeyganj Police in the Daliganj Crossing area. The operation focused on two-wheelers and battery rickshaws to ensure road safety and law compliance.
As part of the drive, police officials issued challans to motorcyclists found riding without helmets, carrying triple passengers, and indulging in overspeeding. Battery rickshaws were also thoroughly checked, with a focus on verifying vehicle documents and number plates.
Several violators were fined on the spot, and strict warnings were issued to ensure future compliance. The police also questioned a few battery rickshaw drivers found to be acting suspiciously.
The drive, led by the Madeyganj police team, aimed at curbing traffic violations and ensuring public safety in the area.
