Lucknow: Lucknow Metro has been organizing book fairs from time to time at the metro stations for the convenience of book lovers. Currently, two book fairs are going on at Hazratganj and Krishna Nagar Metro Stations.
• At Hazrtaganj Metro Station, Repertwar has organized a book fair which will run till 20th May 2024.
• Another Book Fair at Krishna Nagar Metro station has been organized by Bookland which will run till 26 May 2024.
Lucknow Metro has previously organized many book fairs to add value to the passengers’ overall travel experience and has received overwhelming response.
Book lovers can choose from a variety of genres including fiction, non-fiction, historical, science, art and culture etc. at these ongoing Book Fairs. The Book fairs also have a great colledction of stationary items and posters for children and adults.
The exhibition offers books from a plethora of genres and subjects — from literature, history, mythology, general knowledge, to science, spirituality, philosophy, academic books, culture, religion, and so much more.
The fair aims at cultivating the habit of reading amongst youngsters in an era where technology is everything and Kindles are ruling over the bibliophiles. Take a break from the screens and engross in the world of some old-school reading!
For this, the wondrous book land has a multitude of children’s books, besides offering something for all kinds of readers with works in both Hindi and English. You can choose from your favourite fiction or non-fiction works and revel in the experience.
Organised by Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC), this season of the fair is here with an expansion of the book collection, and lots of bestsellers to offer.
