Ayodhya decks up to celebrate Lord Rama’s birthday

Ayodhya: On the occasion of Ramnavmi festival the first birthday of Lord Ram lalla in the grand Ram temple the district administration and Ram janmabhoomi temple trust are making  elaborate arrangements to avoid any untoward incident.

Over 40 lakh devotees are expected to visit the temple city on the holy occasion. On three prime functions from April 15 to April 17 the darshan of Ramlalla will  be extended from present 14 hours to 20 hrs, keeping in view  the huge gathering and devotees will enter through  seven tracks.

In a recent communication, the  temple trust general secretary Champat Rai confirmed the aforementioned.

In the temple trust meeting some more decisions have been taken to facilitate the devotees on Ramnavami celebration he said.

Champat Rai told  The Lucknow Tribune that  in the meeting of Ramjanmabhoomi teertha kheshtra trust was making  arrangements  for elaborate drinking water and ORS packets to save the lakhs of devotees from dehydration and diarrhoea problems.

The General Secretary of the trust Champat Rai further said ‘ To save the devotees from extreme heat Rampath will be overshadowed with six hundred metres long tent and mats from Birla temple to Ram temple.

On the way to Ram temple arrangements for cold drinking water at about 50 places and ORS packets will be done. Benches will be installed at various places on Rampath to take rest and devotees will also get Prasad on this occasion. The live broadcast of Ramlalla janmotsav will be done by Prasar Bharti and this live broadcast will also be displayed on hundred of LEDs in entire Ramnagari and surrounding areas.
