Atif Aslam’s cult classic Tere Bin gets the Akhil Sachdeva touch

Mumbai: In 2006, composer Mithoon, lyricist Saeed Quadri and singer Atif Aslam created the song Tere Bin from the film Bas Ek Pal which is still a favourite among the audience. Now, 18 years later, Akhil Sachdeva is all set to bring back the magic by giving a new twist to the famous song.

If sources are to be believed, Akhil has created a song with the essence of Tere Bin. Though the song is not new, it has the same hook line. “Akhil has not used a single tune from the original song.

The lyrics, melody and composition in the new track are completely different. Only the hook line has been kept the same as it fits seamlessly into the song and completes it. It felt like it was made for Tere Bin. It is a completely new song but has the same emotions and a new feel,” the source revealed.

The source also revealed that the song has a lot of intensity and emotional content and that is what appealed to Tips owner Kumar Taurani, who owns the rights to the original song.

The source added, “When Akhil sent his version of the song to Tips, everyone there loved it. Kumar ji agreed that though many people have sent him their versions of the song, none of them were as fresh as Akhil’s.” He further added that the song really fits the kind of soulful tracks one gets to hear from Akhil, who has composed, written and sung the song.

Vaibhav Pandey has done the music arrangement and music programming of the song and it is reportedly expected to release on November 11.
