New Delhi: In a shock to the Congress, former Delhi Congress president Arvinder Singh Lovely, former minister Rajkumar Chauhan, former MLAs Naseeb Singh and Neeraj Basoya and Amit Malik joined the BJP in the presence of party national president JP Nadda at his residence. During this, BJP National General Secretary Vinod Tawde and Delhi State President Virendra Sachdeva and many other leaders were also present. Lovely and Rajkumar Chauhan have also been ministers in the Sheila Dikshit government of Delhi.
Earlier, at the BJP national headquarters, Arvinder Singh Lovely, Rajkumar Chauhan, Naseeb Singh, Neeraj Basoya and Amit Malik announced the membership of the party in the presence of Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Vinod Tawde, BJP national media head Anil Baluni, Sanjay. Vinod Tawde, while welcoming Congress leaders to BJP, said that it seemed that Priyanka Gandhi would contest from Rae Bareli but Rahul Gandhi filed nomination from Rae Bareli. PM Modi says, ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ but Congress’s slogan is ‘Beta Bachao, Beta Badhao’. He said that Rahul Gandhi first called Wayanad his home and then moved to Rae Bareli and Arvinder Singh Lovely and his comrades did not like to live with such people, so he along with his comrades joined the Vikas Bharat Abhiyan under the leadership of PM Modi.

Accusing the Kejriwal government of stopping the development work in Delhi, Hardeep Singh Puri said that the people of the state have seen the work of Arvinder Singh Lovely and Rajkumar Chauhan during the Sheila Dikshit government and BJP will utilize the potential of all these leaders.
Welcoming all these leaders into the party, Virendra Sachdeva said that he is sure that together they will uproot the corrupt government of Delhi. After joining BJP, Arvinder Singh Lovely met PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President JP. Thanked Nadda for giving him the opportunity to cooperate in nation building and the fight for Delhi. He said that today five friends have come to BJP but the entire convoy is ready. There is no doubt that BJP government is going to be formed at the Center with a huge majority and in the coming days the party will try best to form BJP government in Delhi also. Rajkumar Chauhan fiercely targeted the AAP government of Delhi.
