Lucknow: BJP in Uttar Pradesh has taken strong note of very poor performance in U.P. in Lok Sabha elections 2024. CM Yogi has come into action mode. CM Yogi, who returned from Delhi after a high priority meeting post the 2024 verdict, called all the cabinet ministers. In this meeting, he reviewed the reasons for BJP’s defeat.
BJP had a very poor performance in UP Lok Sabha elections this time. The party lost badly on many seats including Ayodhya. Not only this, the defeat of seven Union Ministers has also robbed the sheen off the party. As soon as he returned from Delhi, CM Yogi sent a call to all the ministers to attend the meeting. This meeting was held in Lok Bhavan. In this meeting, the ministers were first asked the reasons for the defeat. There was also discussion about streamlining recruitments to fill the vacant government posts. All ministers have been asked to stay more active on ground.
The CM has reviewed the work of the officers and gave many important instructions. CM Yogi has also met people in Janta Darbar and got to know their problems and gave instructions to solve them soon. But the overall feedback on the culture of Janta Darbars in U.P. is that the CM alone cannot just lead. The battery of ministers better known as Team Yogi will have to play a better role in on ground activation and redressal of problems on a one to one basis.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath does not forget to attend the Janta Darbar despite his busy schedule. Except for some special occasions, this darbar is always held in the presence of the CM.
Famous singer Rakesh Srivastava, who is considered very close to Gorakshapeeth and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has been quoted saying that this Janta Darbar has been held for many years. Even when Maharaj as Yogi is called was an MP, he used to listen to the problems of the people daily and immediately talk to the officials for their resolution. Then the faith of the people was the same as it is today. The head of the state has been conducting public hearings for more than twenty years.
There is a huge number of complainants in the public court. Sometimes this number reaches thousands. The objective of CM Yogi is to know the problems of as many complainants as possible. The CM sometimes listens to the problems of 200 and sometimes 300 complainants. This figure sometimes reaches 500.
On one hand, where no person behaves well with others after getting a position and chair, on the other hand, the head of the country’s largest state Yogi Adityanath puts the public first. Respect for the public is everything for him. Keeping this in mind, the CM himself stands in the Janta Darbar but the public sits on the chair.
Whenever Janta Darbar is held in Gorakhpur, complainants from every corner of Uttar Pradesh come here. Along with this, complainants from outside Uttar Pradesh also come here. Complainants from many other states including Bihar, West Bengal, Uttaranchal have also come here in Janta Darbar.
