Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Adarsh Vyapar Mandal has opened a new office at Vajpayee Building in Narhi Market to provide assistance and services to traders and strengthen their organisational support system.
The office was inaugurated by Uttar Pradesh Adarsh Vyapar Mandal state president Sanjay Gupta, who formally opened the premises by cutting the ribbon. A large number of traders from Narhi Market, along with office-bearers of the organisation’s state and city units, attended the inauguration.

Narhi Market unit president Ajay Pratap Singh, senior general secretary Anil Agrawal, general secretary Sanjay Agrawal, vice-president Ashwani Mishra and treasurer Abhishek Kesarwani said the newly established office would serve as a support centre for local traders. Meetings with officials from various government departments would be organised periodically at the office to address traders’ concerns and facilitate coordination.
They said the office would also provide free assistance to traders from October 1 for GST registration, Udyam registration, FSSAI licensing and registration-related procedures with the Labour Department.
Speaking at the inauguration, Sanjay Gupta said an organisation requires an office, dedicated workers, financial resources and regular programmes to function effectively. He congratulated the Narhi Market office-bearers on establishing the new facility.

Gupta said empowering traders and helping resolve their problems remained among the organisation’s key objectives. He emphasised that traders who remain organised can collectively address even major challenges. He added that the Uttar Pradesh Adarsh Vyapar Mandal would work towards opening offices in all major markets of Lucknow so that traders could become better organised and have access to a structured mechanism for resolving their issues with dignity.
During the programme, Gupta honoured senior traders and office-bearers of the Narhi Market unit by presenting them with angavastras and flower garlands.
Those honoured included Narhi Market unit chairman Prakash Mohan Bhargava, president Ajay Pratap Singh, senior general secretary Anil Agrawal, general secretary Sanjay Agrawal, senior vice-president Ashwani Mishra, treasurer Abhishek Kesarwani, and vice-presidents Subhash Agrawal, Ajit Bhargava, Sunil Kumar Pal, Sandeep Gupta, Ajay Kumar Agrawal, Dinesh Kumar Agrawal, Atul Kumar Jaiswal, Ramesh Gupta, Sanjay Sahu, Dharmendra Jaiswal, Manoj Belani, Ali Ahmed, Mahesh Jaiswal, Mohammad Sharif, Atul Jaiswal, Sunny, Neeraj Belani, Dinesh Sonkar, Vikas Gupta, Mohammad Nazim, Mohammad Imran and Atul Kumar Agrawal.
Among those present were Uttar Pradesh Adarsh Vyapar Mandal senior state vice-president Avinash Tripathi, Gurpreet Singh Chadha, state general secretary Shashikant Sharma, Lucknow city president Harjinder Singh, general secretary Ashish Gupta, Rajan Mishra, Trans Gomti unit president Anirudh Nigam and state vice-president Iqbal Hasan, besides a large number of office-bearers from the organisation’s state and city units.
