‘Maa Pateshwari Shakti Samvad’ Ensures Swift Redressal of Women’s Grievances in Gonda

Gonda: The Maa Pateshwari Shakti Samvad initiative is emerging as an effective platform for the speedy resolution of women’s grievances in Gonda division. During a session held at the Commissioner’s Office, 35 women presented their complaints and concerns before Divisional Commissioner Durga Shakti Nagpal, who directed officials to ensure prompt and quality disposal of all cases within one week.

Taking a serious view of the grievances received, the Commissioner instructed concerned departments to conduct thorough inquiries and submit detailed reports, including photographic evidence wherever necessary. She emphasized that negligence in handling complaints received through the Shakti Samvad programme would not be tolerated.

“The objective of Maa Pateshwari Shakti Samvad is to provide women with a reliable platform where their issues are heard and resolved in a time-bound and transparent manner,” Nagpal said. She directed officials to establish direct communication with complainants before closing any case to ensure their satisfaction with the resolution process.

The complaints raised during the programme covered a wide range of issues, including land disputes, ration card-related problems, housing scheme benefits, old-age pension matters, police-related grievances, and family disputes. All cases were immediately forwarded to the concerned departments with clear instructions for resolution within the stipulated timeframe.

Officials noted that several complaints received during previous editions of the programme have already been successfully resolved, providing relief to women and strengthening public confidence in the initiative. The administration believes that the platform is helping bridge the gap between citizens and government departments by ensuring direct access to senior officials.

Commissioner Durga Shakti Nagpal reiterated that every complaint received under the programme is treated with utmost seriousness and followed up systematically. She said the initiative is designed not only to address grievances but also to ensure that women receive timely justice and administrative support.

Under the Maa Pateshwari Shakti Samvad programme, women from across the division are encouraged to bring forward their concerns directly before the administration. The initiative has become an important mechanism for empowering women by ensuring that their voices are heard and their problems addressed without unnecessary delays.

The programme concluded with directions to all concerned officials to take immediate action on the complaints received and submit progress reports within the prescribed one-week period, reinforcing the administration’s commitment to responsive and accountable governance.
