Lucknow: In a significant academic achievement, Dr Darshan Bajaj, Professor in the Department of Respiratory Medicine at King George’s Medical University (KGMU), has been conferred with three prestigious fellowships in recognition of his contributions to the field.
Dr Bajaj has been awarded the Fellowship of the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP) by the American College of Chest Physicians, the Fellowship of the Indian College of Chest Physicians (FICCP) by the Indian College of Chest Physicians, and the Fellowship of the Indian Association of Clinical Medicine (FIACM) by the Indian Association of Clinical Medicine.
As part of the recognition, Dr Bajaj will be formally honoured with the FCCP fellowship in October this year at a ceremony scheduled in Arizona.

The accolades acknowledge his notable contributions to respiratory medicine and mark a proud moment not only for the young professor but also for KGMU, particularly its Department of Respiratory Medicine. The achievement underscores the institution’s growing reputation in advanced medical research and clinical excellence.
