Tears of Joy and Toasted Dreams: Lucknow Celebrates its Shining Stars

Lucknow: The air in Lucknow, usually fragrant with kebabs and history, crackled with a different kind of energy. As the clock ticked towards the unveiling of the ICSE and ISC board results, nervous energy thrummed in homes and school halls across the City of Nawabs. For students, parents, and teachers alike, it was a moment suspended in time, the culmination of a year’s worth of dedication and dreams.

At Seth M.R. Jaipuria School in Gomti Nagar, the collective breath held in the hall finally broke into a wave of pure elation. A perfect 100% pass rate for both ICSE and ISC sent cheers echoing through the building. For Soham Anand, his phenomenal 99.6% in ICSE wasn’t just a number; it was the sweet reward for countless late-night study sessions, fueled by endless cups of chai and the unwavering belief of his parents who stood beaming beside him. Kavish Dua, just a whisper behind at 99.4%, shared a tearful hug with his teacher, a silent acknowledgment of the guidance that helped him soar.

Principal Promini Chopra, her eyes sparkling with pride, moved through the celebrating crowd, her words of congratulations a balm to the anxieties that had filled the room just moments before. “This remarkable outcome,” she said, her voice filled with emotion, “is proof of our students’ perseverance and the constant light of their teachers.”

The story was similar for the ISC students at Jaipuria. Saransh Mishra, his face flushed with joy after scoring a brilliant 99%, spoke of the quiet confidence his teachers instilled in him. Dhrati Tiwari, clutching her result with a triumphant grin, knew her 98.75% was a testament to her disciplined routine and the unwavering support of her family.

But the wave of success extended far beyond Jaipuria. City Montessori School (CMS), a name synonymous with academic excellence in Lucknow, outdid itself. Imagine the scene: 43 students achieving national ranks in the top 3! For Vedika Vats, Twesha Garg, Saamarth Dwivedi, and five other brilliant minds at CMS, their 99.75% wasn’t just a score; it was the realization of a dream they had chased with relentless dedication. Adya Chauhan and Palak Rai, their smiles radiant, held their 99.60% ICSE scorecards, symbols of their hard work paying off in the most spectacular way.

Rishi Khanna, Head of Communications at CMS, spoke of the palpable joy. “To see so many of our students reach such heights, with 72 scoring above 99%, is truly overwhelming. It’s a collective victory.” The school planned a grand felicitation, a public acknowledgment of the dreams they had helped nurture.

Across Uttar Pradesh, similar stories unfolded. In Agra, Dhruv Makhija’s 99.25% in ISC brought tears of joy to his family’s eyes, while Manthan Goyal’s ICSE topping score was celebrated with sweets all around. In smaller towns like Sambhal and Rampur, individual triumphs became community celebrations, each high score a beacon of hope and hard work.

Even at St. Teresa’s College, where a 100% result in both ICSE and ISC sparked jubilant scenes, the focus was on the individual journeys. Aditya Tiwari’s 94% in ICSE and Rohi Mitra’s 93.25% in ISC were not just marks on a sheet; they represented late-night studies, unwavering focus, and the guiding hand of dedicated teachers. Managing Director Charmaine Fanthome’s pride was evident as she spoke of the students’ mettle and the faculty’s support.

At The Lucknow Public Collegiate 100% students succeeded with First division and a large number of them have scored over 90% in these examinations. Disha with 97.5 % has topped in ISC ( XII ) while Nivesh Maheshwari has brought laurels by securing 95% in ICSE ( X ) .

As these young achievers in Lucknow and across Uttar Pradesh clutched their hard-earned results, their dreams of becoming engineers, doctors, and leaders felt tangibly closer. The celebrations weren’t just about the impressive numbers; they were about the human stories behind them – the sacrifices, the perseverance, the unwavering support systems that helped these stars shine so brightly. In Lucknow, the city’s heart swelled with pride, not just for the scores, but for the bright futures these young individuals were poised to create.
