UK Delegation Visits AKTU, Discusses Investment and Trade

Lucknow: A delegation from the United Kingdom (UK) visited Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) on Wednesday. During the visit, a meeting was organized by the Innovation Hub, bringing together representatives from the delegation, startups, and incubators.

The UK delegation engaged in discussions about trade opportunities between the UK and Uttar Pradesh. They highlighted the ample opportunities available for startups and incubators in both regions. The meeting also focused on fostering mutual collaboration and providing support to startups in Uttar Pradesh. Additionally, potential investment in startups was a key topic of discussion. The delegation members shared insights about their visit and their respective startups, emphasizing the need for cooperation through various exchange programs.

Dean of Innovation, Prof. B.N. Mishra, welcomed the delegation and remarked that Uttar Pradesh is abundant in opportunities and resources. He emphasized that as an agriculture-based state, UP provides a conducive environment for startups and innovation. He also appealed to the delegation for collaboration and support.

On this occasion, Mahip Singh, Head of the Innovation Hub, elaborated on the current status and potential of innovation and startups in the state. The event was moderated by Innovation Hub Manager, Vandana Sharma.
