Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced in the state assembly that 30,000 new police personnel will soon be recruited. This recruitment will be in addition to the ongoing recruitment process for 60,244 constables, which is in its final stage.
The Chief Minister stated that since 2017, more than 1.56 lakh police personnel have been recruited. The selected candidates will undergo training soon. Notably, 20% of the new vacancies will be reserved for women, promoting women’s empowerment in the force.
The notification for the recruitment process will be released soon on the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB). Interested candidates are advised to regularly check the website for updates.
