Lucknow/Kasganj: Under the direction of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, International Yoga Day 2024 was organized on a large scale across the state. On this occasion, ministers and officials were entrusted with the responsibility of conducting programs in various districts. In this sequence, the State Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities and Backward Classes Welfare, Narendra Kashyap inaugurated the yoga program organized by the district administration in Kasganj as the chief guest and also practiced yoga himself.
On the occasion of International Yoga Day, ‘Yoga Week’ was celebrated from 15 June to 21 June 2024 with the aim of providing the benefits of yoga to more and more people. During this week, yoga camps, workshops and awareness programs were organized at various places, so that people could be introduced to various aspects and benefits of yoga.
In his address at the main event organized in Kasganj, Minister Narendra Kashyap said that yoga is not only necessary for physical health but also for mental peace and overall well-being. Through yoga we can achieve balance and prosperity in life. He inspired the people present to do yoga daily and urged them to include it in their daily routine.
A large number of local citizens, students, teachers and members of various organizations participated in this Yoga Day program. Everyone practiced yoga enthusiastically and understood the importance of yoga. Participation of specially disabled and backward class people was encouraged, so that every section of the society can get the benefits of yoga.
