Lucknow: The Vikas Nagar Police in Lucknow have claimed to have solved three separate theft cases with the arrest of two accused and the recovery of stolen valuables, including gold and silver jewellery, as well as vehicles allegedly used in the crimes.
According to police, the recovered items include a silver glass, a bowl, eight anklets, seven coins, six toe rings, rings, earrings, a chain, two ear tops and other ornaments made of yellow and white metal. Officers also seized an Eeco car (UP32 YN 1401) and an Apache motorcycle (UP32 QY 0502), which were allegedly used during the commission of the offences.
Police said the arrests led to the detection of theft cases registered as Crime Nos. 118/2026, 119/2026 and 121/2026 at Vikas Nagar Police Station.
According to police records, one of the arrested accused has a criminal history with multiple cases registered at police stations including Para, Jankipuram, PGI, Sarojini Nagar and Bijnor in Lucknow, involving theft and other offences. The second accused also has previous criminal cases registered against him, including at Vikas Nagar Police Station.

The operation was carried out by the Vikas Nagar Police team, including Lekhraj Panna Outpost In-charge, Sub-Inspector Bhanu Pratap Singh, Sub-Inspector Rajesh Kumar Yadav, Vikul Mavi and Anuruddh Kumar, along with other police personnel.
Police said further legal proceedings are being carried out against the arrested accused as the investigation continues.
