Lucknow: Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) continues to promote literature by organizing book fairs at metro stations. In collaboration with Lucknow Book Fair, UPMRC is hosting the first-ever ‘Children’s Book Carnival’ at Hazratganj Metro Station from April 1 to April 20, 2025, making summer vacations more exciting for young readers.
The 20-day event will offer children and young readers a chance to explore a vast collection of books, participate in interactive storytelling sessions, and engage in creative workshops. Visitors can meet authors, enjoy reading exciting books, and avail special discounts.
Additionally, two major book fairs are underway at metro stations. The ‘Bookflix Book Fair’ at Hazratganj Metro Station will run until May 9, 2025, while the ‘Quiver Book Fair’ at Charbagh Metro Station continues until May 2, 2025. These fairs aim to encourage reading habits by offering books across genres, including biographies, fiction, non-fiction, science, and arts.
