Phoenix United Women’s Premier League Concludes

Lucknow: The Phoenix United Women’s Premier League Indoor Cricket Tournament saw enthusiastic participation from women representing schools, colleges, and clubs across the city. Held from March 8 to March 30, the tournament crowned G.G.I.C Indira Nagar as the school category champion, S.R.K College as the college category winner, and Jyoti Club as the club category victor. Former Indian cricketer Gyanendra Pandey graced the event as the chief guest, boosting the morale of the players.

Winners received cash prizes and trophies, while runners-up – G.R.G.C School, Navyug College, and N.R Academy – were also awarded trophies. All players received certificates for their participation. Spectators enjoyed thrilling cricket matches while indulging in shopping and dining at Phoenix United Mall. Sanjeev Sareen, Senior Center Director of Phoenix Mills, stated, “This tournament was not just a competition but a platform to empower women in sports. We are proud to have successfully hosted this event.”
