Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently inaugurated a dedicated FM radio channel in Prayagraj ahead of the upcoming Kumbh Mela 2025, which begins on January 13. This special radio service aims to provide real-time information and updates to the millions of devotees and tourists expected to attend the grand religious event.
The Chief Minister stated that Prasar Bharati’s ‘Kumbh Vani’ (FM 103.5 MHz) will serve as a medium to bring the live experiences of Mahakumbh 2025 to people in remote villages, connecting citizens across the region with the grandeur of this festival.
The FM channel will broadcast essential updates, including prayer schedules, event timings, safety measures, and traffic advisories, ensuring that visitors have seamless access to all necessary information. Special programs focusing on the spiritual and cultural significance of the Kumbh will also be aired.
This initiative is part of the state government’s efforts to ensure better connectivity and communication for the estimated 40 crore attendees. By leveraging technology, the channel will enhance the overall experience for pilgrims, enabling them to navigate the vast mela grounds with ease.
