Indore: Individuals working selflessly to bring positive change to society and often remaining away from the spotlight will get an opportunity for national recognition through the Golden Impact Achiever Awards-3 (GIAA-3). 2030 Ka Bharat, a nodal organisation committed to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), has invited free nominations for the third edition of the awards.
The initiative seeks to recognise individuals who have made significant contributions in the areas of Quality Education, Zero Hunger, and Affordable and Clean Energy. The organisers said the awards are aimed at bringing greater visibility to people whose sustained efforts have helped improve the lives of others without seeking publicity or recognition.
According to 2030 Ka Bharat, meaningful social transformation is often driven by individuals who work consistently at the grassroots level and dedicate years to addressing challenges faced by their communities. Through the Golden Impact Achiever Awards, the organisation aims to provide such changemakers with a national platform and highlight their contributions.
Dr Atul Malikram, Founder, 2030 Ka Bharat, said that a country does not change through policies and schemes alone, but also through people who commit themselves to creating hope and bringing positive change to the lives of others.
He said the Golden Impact Achiever Awards are an effort to recognise these genuine changemakers and bring their work before a wider audience.
The upcoming edition marks the third year of the Golden Impact Achiever Awards. The previous two editions recognised 21 social workers and changemakers from seven Hindi-speaking states for their noteworthy contributions to society.
The organising committee has invited citizens, social organisations and institutions to nominate individuals who are making an outstanding contribution in the areas of quality education, zero hunger or affordable and clean energy. The nominations will be evaluated by an expert committee, following which selected changemakers will receive the Golden Impact Achiever Awards-3.
The nomination process is completely free, with the initiative encouraging communities and organisations to identify and nominate individuals whose work is creating measurable and meaningful social impact.
The awards seek to celebrate those working quietly on the ground and demonstrate how individual commitment and community-focused action can contribute towards achieving the broader Sustainable Development Goals.
