Lucknow: Faculty of Law of the University of Lucknow has become the top most state university in the Uttar Pradesh to provide law education as per the Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF) 2024 by securing 1st rank in Uttar Pradesh
Among all the law institutions in the state, it is at 4th place after AMU, BHU and Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, which are basically central universities. It is also to mention that it has secured 32nd position in the country among law institutions and universities in 2024.
This framework is presented by Education Post and assesses organizations based on five vital parameters: employability, teaching-learning resources, faculty, infrastructure, and project and case study.
The Faculty of Law has performed exceptionally well in teaching-learning resources and infrastructure among these five criteria. This remarkable achievement by the law faculty is expected to attract more Indian and overseas students. It is also noteworthy that recently, the university has secured the 91st position in the country in the Scimago Institutional Ranking 2024, which further underscores the significance of the IIRF results as another reason for the university to celebrate its academic achievements.
Vice Chancellor, University of Lucknow Prof Alok Kumar Rai said that these significant improvements in the university’s ranking are a result of an industry-centric curriculum, faculty recruitments, and infrastructure upgrades. These factors have substantially contributed to the enhancement of teaching and research quality.
