India’s defense exports record new heights says Rajnath Singh

Lucknow: India has achieved record success in the defense sector. India’s exports in this sector have reached record highs. Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh gave this information on social media platform X.

Rajnath Singh in his earlier post wrote that all Indians are happy to inform that Indian defense exports have reached unprecedented heights and have crossed the Rs 21,000 crore mark for the first time in the history of independent India.

India’s defense exports have increased to a record level of Rs 21,083 crore in the financial year 2023-24, registering an impressive growth of 32.5 percent over the previous financial year.

What did the Defense Minister say about the PM?

The Defense Minister further wrote that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Defense Ministry has taken several steps to promote India’s defense manufacturing and exports. In such a situation, our defense industries including the private sector and DPSUs have performed well in the last few years.

The Defense Minister also congratulated all stakeholders in the defense export sector for achieving this feat.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had emphasized on achieving self-reliance in all sectors since the formation of the government. Along with this, PM Modi has always had a special focus on the field of defence. In such a situation, this achievement in the defense sector is being linked to his vision of self-reliant India.
