Lucknow: UP International Trade Show (UPITS) will be organized in Greater Noida from 25 to 29 September under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath (CM Yogi). On one hand, while the dreams of entrepreneurs will get wings, the guests will also get acquainted with the cultural heritage of UP. In this event, the Yogi government will give a platform to the folk dance and folk song artists of Uttar Pradesh in front of the visitors from the country and abroad, while the artists of Russia, Bolivia, Kazakhstan, Brazil, Venezuela, Egypt, Bangladesh will also introduce the hosts to a glimpse of their culture.

The Culture Department has made preparations for cultural programs in the second edition of UP International Trade Show (UPITS). Visitors will also enjoy melodious programs for five days on the Muktakash stage here. On the first day on September 25, there will be a bhajan by Madhavi Madhukar of Noida and cultural presentation by artists from the guest country Vietnam. On the first day, the audience will dance to the songs of Bollywood singer Ankit Tiwari. On September 26, artists from Bolivia, Russia, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, Brazil, Venezuela, Egypt etc. will present their country’s culture through ICCR. Spiritual bliss will be experienced through ‘Prem Ke Rang, Krishna Ke Sang’ by Neelakshi Roy of Prayagraj. The last presentation of the cultural evening will be of Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor’s songs.
On September 27, Madhuri Sharma of Mathura will introduce the folk songs of Braj. Pawandeep and Arunita, who rule the hearts of the youth, will also perform in front of the youth in the trade show. On September 28, Sanjoli Pandey of Lucknow, Ranjana Neb of Saharanpur will present a Kathak dance drama based on Ram Katha. Madhava Band will present a singing performance on Krishna Bhakti Gayan. On September 29, Jitendra Chaurasia of Mahoba will introduce Bundeli folk songs. Preeti Singh of Agra will present a dance drama on Hanuman Chalisa. Dr. Palash Sen’s Euphrasia Band will present a performance.
Yogi Government will also give international platform to folk dance artists
Yogi Government has full emphasis on promoting folk culture. In this sequence, cultural platform has been provided to folk artists in ITS. Preeti Singh and team of Prayagraj will present Dhedhiya dance, Ramesh Pal Paidanda of Banda, Shitala Prasad Verma Faruahi of Ayodhya, Sumishtha Mitra Badhawa folk dance of Ayodhya, Devendra S Mangalmukhi Kathak of Agra, Vandana Kushwaha Rai of Jhansi, Bunty Rana Tharu of Pilibhit, Deepak Sharma Mayur folk dance, Preeti Tiwari Kathak dance drama of Lucknow, Ramgyan Yadav Faruahi folk dance of Gorakhpur, Raghuveer Singh Yadav Pai-Danda dance of Jhansi. Apart from this, artists from various districts of Uttar Pradesh have also been provided a platform.
