ADR report throws up a surprising paradox


Lucknow: The report regarding the first phase of Lok Sabha elections 2024 in Uttar Pradesh is shocking. Of the 80 candidates contesting on 80 Lok Sabha seats in the first phase of the state, 28 have criminal cases registered against them. Of these, 29 percent candidates have serious criminal cases registered against them.
