Lucknow: The third day of the 147th annual celebration of the Shri Mausamganj Ramlila and Natya Samiti in Daliganj featured dramatic enactments of Vishwamitra’s arrival in Ayodhya, the disruption of his sacred ritual, and the slaying of demons Tadaka, Maricha and Subahu.
The performers brought key episodes from the Ramayana to life, captivating the audience with their portrayal of the legendary events.

The programme depicted Sage Vishwamitra’s arrival in Ayodhya and his request to King Dasharatha to send Lord Rama and Lakshmana with him to protect his yajna from demonic attacks. The subsequent scenes showed Lord Rama slaying Tadaka and defeating the demons who attempted to disrupt the sacred ritual.
Through these episodes, the performance conveyed the message of protecting righteousness and the triumph of good over evil.

Ghanshyam Das Agarwal, president of the Shri Mausamganj Ramlila and Natya Samiti, said the organisation was celebrating its 147th annual festival this year.
