Mumbai: Randeep Hooda starrer ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’ is based on the life of Veer Savarkar. This film, which presents the important events of his life before the audience, was released in theaters on Friday, March 22 in two languages, Hindi and Marathi. The figures of how much the film earned on the day of Holi, as well as the total box office collection of the film, have been revealed.
Directed by Randeep Hooda, this film stars Ankita Lokhande and Amit Syal in lead roles. According to the report of SACNILC, the film earned Rs 1.05 crore on the first day of its release, while on the second day i.e. Saturday it earned Rs 2.25 crore and on the third day i.e. Sunday the film earned Rs 2.7 crore more.
As per the preliminary figures comparing both the days, the film has collected Rs 2.25 crore on the fourth day of Holi holiday. The total collection of the film in four days is Rs 8.7 crore. The life journey of Veer Savarkar has been shown in the film ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’. Apart from Randeep Hooda, Ankita Lokhande and Amit Syal also play important roles in the film.
