Bareilly: A special lecture focusing on the diverse dimensions of personality development was organised at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University under the aegis of its Department of Education, aimed at encouraging holistic growth among students.
The session, conducted at the departmental auditorium, was organised under the inspiration of Vice-Chancellor Prof. K. P. Singh. The keynote speaker, Dr. Anoop Agrawal, shared insights drawn from his extensive experience in the Indian Air Force, banking sector, and over two decades of social service.
In his address, Dr. Agrawal emphasised the importance of self-awareness, strengthening willpower, and continuous personal refinement. He encouraged students to adopt positive values and cultivate a growth-oriented mindset, inspiring them to work toward meaningful personal and professional development.
The programme was chaired by Prof. Santosh Arora, who urged students to enhance their personalities by integrating academic excellence with practical life skills. Programme coordinator Prof. Sudhir Kumar Verma highlighted various personality development initiatives undertaken by the department during the 2025–26 academic session and guided students on applying these learnings in real life.
Several faculty members, including Prof. Anju Agrawal, Dr. Tarun Rashtriya, Dr. Pratibha Sagar, Dr. Prempal Singh, Dr. Suresh Kumar, Dr. Rambabu, Dr. Meenakshi Dwivedi, and Dr. Vimal Kumar, were present at the event.
Students from M.Ed. second and fourth semesters actively participated in the session, which was conducted by Jayati Shukla, a fourth-semester student.
In a message shared on the occasion, Vice-Chancellor Prof. K. P. Singh stated that personality development extends beyond academic achievements and encompasses confidence, ethical values, and social awareness. He commended the Department of Education for organising such initiatives and encouraged students to draw inspiration from them to contribute meaningfully to nation-building.
