Two-Day National Conclave “Idea 2 Impact” Set for November 28–29 at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University
Lucknow — Saraswati Dental College & Hospital, Lucknow, in partnership with ZoopUp Technologies, is gearing up for the second edition of its National Conclave on Innovation and Entrepreneurship — SPARKOFEST 2.0: Idea 2 Impact — built around the theme “Innovate, Invest, Inspire.” It’s a fresh step by the institution to push the innovation and entrepreneurship agenda forward in Uttar Pradesh.
The two-day event will be held at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Lucknow, on November 28 and 29, 2026.
The idea behind the conclave is straightforward: get people thinking creatively and laterally, expose them to the finer points of innovation and entrepreneurship, and give the startup culture a real push — all while encouraging participants to turn ideas into solutions that actually benefit society. It’s aimed at a fairly wide audience — students, faculty, entrepreneurs, researchers, startup founders, and business innovators — all of whom stand to gain from sharpening their competitive edge and their appetite for innovation.
Organized under the “Idea 2 Impact” banner, the conclave is being driven by the college’s own incubation cell, SDC SPARK, with ZoopUp powering the initiative. The goal is to create a platform where sharp minds can come together, swap ideas, work on solutions collaboratively, and figure out pathways to innovation-led growth. With acclaimed speakers, industry experts, venture capitalists, investors, academic leaders, and startup founders from across the country expected to attend, SPARKOFEST 2.0 is positioning itself as a bridge between academic research and real-world application.
The inauguration will be attended by prominent government dignitaries, well-known speakers, scientists, delegates, entrepreneurs, and investors, with international participants also expected to join in. Over the two days, attendees can look forward to keynote lectures, high-powered panel discussions, competitions, a trade fair, and awards worth up to INR 5 lakh for winners, along with national-level recognition.

Discussions will largely revolve around how innovation and entrepreneurship can help realize the vision of “Viksit Bharat 2047,” along with a specific focus on health-tech entrepreneurship. The conclave will also touch on the growing importance of interdisciplinary collaboration and entrepreneurial thinking in today’s fast-changing professional world. Organizers are keen to highlight that innovation isn’t just a tech-sector story anymore — it’s becoming just as critical in healthcare and dental sciences, where new approaches can make a real difference to patient care and service delivery.
Participants can expect to get hands-on through an ideathon, startup pitch sessions, innovation displays, a poster competition, and interactive workshops. There’s also a dedicated push to connect investors with startups, mentor young innovators, and walk them through the essentials of building a startup — from funding and product-market fit to intellectual property rights and business strategy.
SPARKOFEST 2.0 is also encouraging faculty and researchers to take their research findings and turn them into scalable, societally impactful solutions. By building an ecosystem that supports experimentation — and yes, a bit of risk-taking — the institution hopes to push participants to think beyond the usual boundaries.
A trade exhibition will run alongside the conclave, with various stalls showcasing innovative products and solutions.
The event marks another step in Saraswati Dental College’s continued push toward academic excellence and community impact. Building on the strong response to SPARKOFEST 1.0, the institution is hoping this edition inspires a new wave of innovators who can turn ambitious ideas into real, tangible outcomes — strengthening India’s startup ecosystem and reinforcing the spirit of entrepreneurship within higher education. For anyone with an idea worth chasing, or serious about stepping into entrepreneurship, this one’s shaping up to be a must-attend.
