Rae Bareli: The 66th foundation day of the Shree Sarveshwari Group was celebrated with enthusiasm and spiritual fervour at the Aghor Ashram, Munshiganj, Rae Bareli, with devotees and members of the organisation participating in various religious and community activities.
The celebrations began at 6 am with a Prabhat Pheri that started from the ashram premises. Devotees moved through different parts of the city while chanting slogans in praise of Param Pujya Aghoreshwar Mahaprabhu, Maa Sarveshwari and Gurupad Baba.
The procession passed through Mama Chauraha and Civil Lines. Near Saras Chauraha, employees of Hotel Om Clarks offered floral tributes to the portrait of Aghoreshwar Mahaprabhu. The Prabhat Pheri then proceeded through Ratapur and Tripula before reaching the Dakshinmukhi Hanuman Temple at Jahanabad.
At the temple, devotees offered flowers and performed aarti before the portrait of Aghoreshwar Mahaprabhu. The procession subsequently reached Mansa Devi Temple, where priests and devotees performed worship in honour of Aghoreshwar Mahaprabhu.
The Prabhat Pheri then passed through Ghantaghar and Supermarket before reaching Chandrapur Temple. Devotees performed aarti and offered prayers, while the temple committee distributed prasad among the participants.
The procession later returned to the Aghor Ashram at Munshiganj, where the main foundation day programme was held.
The Sarveshwari flag was ceremonially worshipped by Chhote Sadhu, following which branch minister Harshendra Singh hoisted the flag. Ramesh Singh subsequently conducted the Saphalyoni Path.
A family gathering was organised after the religious ceremonies, with Mangla Charan led by Marshal Baba. During the gathering, office-bearers of the branch and followers of Aghoreshwar Mahaprabhu shared their views on the organisation’s spiritual teachings, values and activities.
Those who addressed the gathering included Chhota Sadhu, branch minister Harshendra Singh, vice-president Raghavendra Mishra, manager Brijesh Singh, joint minister Abhishek Vikram Singh, treasurer Shivalakhan Singh, Ravindra Singh, Ramesh Singh, Anang Pal Singh and advocate Govind Singh, among others.
The participants recalled the teachings and ideals associated with Aghoreshwar Mahaprabhu and emphasised the importance of spiritual values, discipline and collective participation in social and religious activities.
